I Love My Friend

I have a friend that's a girl but I love her. She's sweet and cute - her nickname is button - and she is sort of emo but makes sure everyone around her is happy. Alot of other girls like her too and her friends are always talking about her girlfriend. I don't think that is me. Multiple girls claim to be in a relationship with her. Ive kissed her before and she's kisses me on the cheek and she keeps saying she loves me and I know she means it but then why does she keep telling me she doesn't have a girlfriend?
