@AL0001 - I guess it must be painfully tough on those who are childless and really want children...and after some high profile cases of children being murdered by their parent/parents, why people like these are allowed to have children at all.
I guess I'm lucky that I'm lucky that I don't want children, otherwise it would be a different story since having children / starting a family since it was never going to become a reality...

I've never wanted children, and felt for various reasons I could not support a family. Too late now though. I'm not so sure about staying single though, although that's hardly likely to change now.

Hi, I'm single and do not have children and I wish I had a life partner and children. I'm glad you're happy with your circumstances though--I want to meet more happily childless people. I think it would help me see the advantages we have. 👍
