There is an argument that the romantic notion that there is a Mr Right is wrong and in fact dangerous. It could be that you have had this very experience of conflict between your own romantic expectations and reality. It could be the GUY in this case was particularly bad person and was perhaps playing on your expectations too achieve his won goals - perhaps sex. Anyway do not be angry too much but perhaps review your understanding of what is going on and maybe be sure you share your expectations with your next partner. Sorry you have had a bad experience.
