I Am a Friend Who Loves and Cherishes My Friends

I have a friend who often talks about breaking up with her boyfriend, but never follows through. She's told me many upsetting stories about how he disrespects and disappoints her. She just complains about it and how she needs to leave him but doesn't. I feel bad for her because she's a great person who deserves so much better, but at the same time I don't feel bad because she is control of her life and should be able to make the decision.
