I Like Musicians
I am a musician, so it's no surprise that I'd be attracted to people of the same ilk.
My first memory involves music, and ever since then, music has held me captive. One memory I recall quite well is; walking by the TV in the living room of our house in Laredo.it was for a Bose Wave Radio. The song coming from it made me instantly stop and listen. I was enthralled with the power the music had! I then started humming what I remembered. Later I found out the song was Beethovens' 5th symphony, and that was when I realized that not very many folks listen to classical music. Nowadays I say, listen to whatever floats your boat!
In high school, I was in marching, symphonic, Jazz, and basketball band. Total band nerd!! I also sang in the church choir, and played handbells too. I used to argue vehemently with the 'star" quarterback about marching band requiring team effort.. ( I think it annoyed him that I didn't have respect for him cause of his position, yeah, ok… like I was gonna be intimidated by a guy I'd known from first grade! Uh huh. And even now that I like watching football, one thing'll never change, the halftime show is the best! I loved playing at the games!
