I Hate Feeling Cold

@SW-User I was up your way this week..fire going one night, stinking hot the next. I think this summer is going to be stinking hot

@Bushmanoz Yeah it's hailing right now and freezing and a few days ago it was 31c and had the AC on. Weather is crazy. But yes, i think it's going to be a hot summer and probably dryer than last summer which was really humid.

@SW-User Im not looking forward to it. A lot of talk about a drought that could last for years, and we just have tank water

@Bushmanoz We had a drought here back years ago now, but it went for 10 years or so. There litereally wasn't any rain. People were told no garden watering at all and there were inspectors out every evening. My neighbours kids had actually grown up never seeing rain. I remember the first time it really rained when the drought broke and there were kids in the streets dancing in it. It was a crazy time. Hope we never have another one of those.

@SW-User Me too, I remember that one, the storage was nearly completely dry. I never thought about kids never seeing rain. Gees, we take lot for granted sometimes.

@Bushmanoz Yeah, it went on for so long. I would hate to go through it again. Some people were buying water in, in trucks just for their gardens while others were pulling them right out. Swimming pools were something that kids didn't grow up with either.

@SW-User Not a lot of rain north of the Victorian border up to central Queensland. We haven't had a decent amount of rain for a few years now. It sort of rained a few hours ago, got about 3 mm. And I think it's going to be a long, hot summer too.

@Bushranger Yes i agree. It was hot and humid with rain last summer.. i hated it but at least there was some rain. It's been a dry winter and now the dry is continuing.
