I Express My Feelings Through Writing
In the still of the night when all is quiet and calm she sleeps with a peaceful calm to her. She knows why she has found peace. She knows why she feels this way. It’s because of him and his calming ways, the way he smiles at her, the wink that’s in his eye, the way she always catches him looking her way.
She finds her way out of bed and putting on a robe. She pads to the door with her feet bare. Opening the door she feels the cool rush of night air against her face. She looks up at the moon and she thinks of him.
Smiling she pulls her robe closer around her body. She steps out a step from her door to the soft green grass already wet with the coming of the morning dew and she searches beyond the moon’s glow to that far off twinkling star, the brightest in the sky.
Feeling a shuddering wave go through her she knows what she feels. It’s his love that transcends the moon and the stars from where he is there to where she stands now. Across the physical plane to places beyond space to spaces one cannot see, his love moves swiftly and deftly finding its way to
center of her soul.
They are united together, bound by a love that knows no bounds. She smiles towards the night sky and softly says I love you. She waits a moment and as she turns and heads back inside she instinctively hears his voice whisper softly in her ear...I love you too...
