I Express My Feelings Through Writing

sometimes it’s the words you write
or the way you tilt your head to the right

sometimes it’s the songs you sing
or the way you do those little and most generous things for me

sometimes it’s the touch of your hand
or the way you throw your hair back
moving it from side to side

sometimes it’s the silence as we wipe away each other’s tears. the way we hold each one other, the way we fit so comfortably in each other’s arms

sometimes it’s the heart to heart connection
the expression and exclamation of
a love so grand and everlasting

sometimes it’s all these things and sometimes it’s new things, unexpected things

but all the time in all things love is at the center and it’s our love that we celebrate in all its forms and embrace
