I Think Grades Do Not Decide How Intelligent You Are

That is such a true statement, even though people request higher transcript notes, if you lack the social abilities you won't probably get the job or you are most likely to lose it before the others do. If a person sucks at math, no problem, if a person is good at physics no problem because none of this, none of this prepares you for the real life!

I didn't really "want" to learn at that age. But i became interested in everything as soon as it wasn't mandatory anymore. There's too much going on at that age to be able to concentrate i think. Its literally self esteem that holds me back because my grades weren't great as i was having issues at home. So i think its damaging to tell someone their worth in society on a piece of paper like that and then expect you to just get on with life with no direction/guidance.
