I Don't Know Who I Am

Who am I? What makes me, me?
This continuing amnesia makes it hard for me to remember me from a year ago or me as a kid. I feel like each new year I get cloned and loose all my memories. I'm not the me you knew as a kid, that was different person. I'm the me of 8/30/2017.

I think (ding-ding nutcase alert!) that you are your memories. But not just your conscious, accessible, memories, you are the sum of all your memories, all the events of your past which have laid a trace in your unconscious, or set up an expectation in your subconscious.

And yes, everyone is changing all the time, in tiny fractional daily changes. Someone like you, the changes might well be more visible, internally, as you're not drawing on the depth of conscious memories others have.
