I Believe In Nature Spirits
Something In The Land... there is a certain calm and beauty in the land that i forgot existed, just staring out at the serene green, instead of street packed like a tin of sardines with people or tree tops with flowing leaves instead of gritty and opressive city skylines...i am a city boy by nature, grew up in the city, never really liked living out in the country and i hate bugs and spiders, can't stand them or wasps and bees.
yet i find something immensely powerful and calming in the land itself, in nature. and for a few momments, standing there and being "outside" and breathing that country air it just feels so..refreshing and i can't help but feel that there is something there and i dont feel distant from it, instead i feel like i am in some way a part of that, yet i am given the ability to marvel at its beauty and ponder its meaning. of course then i'll see some spider or bug or wasp and get scared and hate it XD and if i have to spend the night out in the country then i jsut can't do it. still for a few hours, its great to just walk along the grass, out in the fields, in the forests. a real sense of beauty and escapism, espically with my imagination, i feel like i could be anywhere lol. but i am moving away from the point.
i believe that there is something powerful and anceint, something spirtual in nature, perhaps it is nature itself or the earth..is there a difference? i dont know, i jsut know that i feel a few momments of peace and for those few momments of peace, i am forever grateful for.
