(*at the playground, at my new complex*)

my daughter is on the swing, I'm reading my book. a little boy around her age rides up on his bike. they start talking. she starts swinging again, falls, he starts to help her up, and I jump in...

me: "whoa, whoa, whoa! hey, hey, hey! delicate merchandise there..."

her: "Daddy! he was being nice!"

(*realizing she had a point, I look over at the little boy who is standing there frozen*)

me (to him): "I'm watching you, bruh..."
