I Have Something to Say

I'm so sad. I've failed at my presentation of my term paper to the board of examiners. It was awkward, I stuttered, forgot some topics and even so my term paper was approved. Still, my term paper was clearly the worst of my class.

Don't beat yourself over it. Learn from your mistakes. Life is about the learning and not about being perfect. Be glad you made mistakes and can point them out. It makes you an aware person, and that's a great start towards improvement. You're too young to be sad about failures. failures are friends, teachers, and parents.

@Rollerskatesandpocketblades: that is a... Pretty solid advice. I think I never thought in this way, because it's hard to someone proclaims their mistakes, but looking in that way it's a good thing to do it... Well, I know one thing for sure. I've learned a lot of things because of this situation

@Arthur14: it's okay. It took me years to think like that. And some rock bottom months to act on it.

Poor preparation or just 'match day' nerves ?
Arthur14 · 26-30, M

Don't compare yourself to others! You will never think your stuff is good enough haha.

I've have felt the same way and it sucks to feel like you failed but failure isn't the opposite of success it is part of it! Learn from your mistakes and do better next time 👣
