I Have Something to Say

So, this is a little feedback on how things are going related to the triggers that affect me. I thought of something that seems to be true and just recently(like yesterday) started applying the idea to my life. This is it: Your brain is a stream of different thoughts that could come from the physical or the spiritual realm. You have the rite to choose what thoughts you want to stay or even accept and you have the rite to discard thoughts that are not good.It is important to realise that bad thoughts are not real and they cannot affect you.(I'm working on that)An SW member made me realise that from her post here.I like good thoughts and so when something i may have heard that caused the trigger happened I focused or had to admit and tried to see the fact that based on the nature of the abuse I am not that kind of person. I think i had to admit that. And it has helped. This was yesterday. The change I would have wanted with this strategy or way of tackling my trigger hasn't exactly changed everything I would have liked to be changed. There's still a part of me that I don't like that i would like to go. I can't do it alone. I hope it goes by GOD'S grace.

That's good Roy.

Take it one day at a time.

We are not perfect so there are days when we move one or two steps forward on our spiritual path, only to slip back five steps backward. What's important is, we are aware of what's happening in us and with us, which is mindfulness and what we're doing which is purposefulness.馃檪

Ok..Is that sarcasm? Lol. A dictionary realistically isn't actually the answer to my situation. But i get your joke :)
