Seriously, I just had to move out of an apt because the landlord wanted $1k/mth for a newly renovated 1 bd apt, when, in this area you can own a 3 bd house for that much

Right? It was a little more than $800 for a 3 bedroom back in 2000. Now a 2 bedroom is 1600-1700 (and this is the low end)
