I Have Something to Say

I’m not sure why brethren and the heathens cannot discern Jeremiah 10:1-5 and attribute it to a literal Christmas tree when all of the book of Jeremiah is about warnings of destruction for the Jews who went after the gentile gods and worshipped their idols after the Lord commanded them to be wiped out. To be clear, Jeremiah 10 describes fashioning Canaanite idols from fresh cut wood and precious metals. It has nothing to do with Christmas trees. .
.
“For the customs of the peoples are delusion; Because it is wood cut from the forest, The work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. "They decorate it with silver and with gold; They fasten it with nails and with hammers So that it will not totter. "Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field are they, AND THEY CANNOT SPEAK; They must be carried, Because THEY CANNOT WALK! Do not fear them, For they can do no harm, Nor can they do any good."”
‭Jeremiah 10:3-5 NASB‬

WHY WOULD WE FEAR A TREE? LOL!
It sounds like a Christmas tree, but since when does a Christmas tree have a mouth to speak and legs to walk? When the craftsmen would create graven idols, they would first have to cut down a tree, carve it out, then decorate it with silver and gold so that it will look like a god in order for them to worship. The process is described clear as day in the book of Isaiah .
.
. “Another shapes wood, he extends a measuring line; he outlines it with red chalk. He works it with planes and outlines it with a compass, and makes it like the form of a man, like the beauty of man, so that it may sit in a house. Surely he cuts cedars for himself, and takes a cypress or an oak and raises it for himself among the trees of the forest. He plants a fir, and the rain makes it grow. Then it becomes something for a man to burn, so he takes one of them and warms himself; he also makes a fire to bake bread. HE ALSO MAKES A GOD AND WORSHIPS IT; HE MAKES IT A GRAVEN IMAGE AND FALLS DOWN BEFORE IT.”
Isaiah 44:13-15 NASB
.
. “"I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.”
Isaiah 42:8 NASB
.
. “Their idols are silver and gold, The work of man's hands.”
Psalms 115:4 NASB
