I Have Something to Say

*cough cough* the right to own a militarized weapon will never be worth more than the right to live

Coming from someone who was in the military. AR 15 or similar variants are not militarized weapons. If stephn paddock had military grade hardware there would have been A LOT more casulties. Same goes for the school shootings. If nobody in the world had guns then it would be a wonderful thing. But as long as there are guns and people use them against others everyone should have the right to defend themselves in an equal matter.

I know a woman close to me that shot and killed a rapist with a tiny .32 caliber pistol while he was attacking her. Why? Because messing yourself wont stop the attack(look at all the pee and poo lovers here), yelling rape is commonly ignored by people. It's generally a lot more effective than a knife or pepper spray. Moral of that story is she wasnt raped.
Did you know that a pellet gun from walmart can kill people too? And statistically you are more likely to be killed by police than involved in a mass shooting. And guess what the guns the cops usually kill people with are handguns!
The simple truth is guns were designed to kill things. It's not the gun that has the intention to kill it's the person behind the trigger that does it. Guns are here to stay and until we find a more effecgive way to kill things it's not gonna change. So instead of trying to ban and destroy them maybe people should focus on education and safety.
