I Have Something to Say

I HATE WATERCRESS!

I had an excellent lunch today at the restaurant in the National Portrait Gallery in London. But the main course was covered in (unadvertised) watercress. I have noticed this in other restaurants. What is the point, even if you like watercress? 馃槇馃槨

Here in America we call that stuff pond shrub. And of course don't eat it. You can't even find it here. I went to make some traditional English food once and had to substitute fresh baby spinach for it.

@Davidarendale0 I love the name! And fresh baby spinach is of course edible, indeed delicious.
