I Don't Think It's A Good Idea To Make Assumptions

There's a world of difference between making assumptions/judgments about people individually, based on a decent amount of evidence, and making assumptions/judgments about people based only on statistics about race, gender, politics, or any other demographic. The line between the two can be fuzzy, grey and difficult to pin down at times - but that doesn't stop the line from being there.

I agree. The line IS difficult sometimes. It's important to make wise judgements, not wide ones.

"wise judgements, not wide ones" I like that, despite the typo :P .

@BlueDiver: Ok, obviously my lack of sleep in days is catching up to me...What typo? I can't even figure out where it's wrong, lol.

judgements/judgments - doesn't your spell check automatically underline typos in red?

@BlueDiver: No. My phone is the stupidest smart phone in the land....

Maybe it's an idiot savant, and it does Sudoku really well or something.

@BlueDiver: Umm, so I just looked it up because I still thought mine was right and is spelled that way in the dictionary. 😜

Oh okay, I just looked it up, and apparently it's one of those words where the English/uk spellings are different, so it's not 100% clear how it's supposed to be spelled. For whatever reason spell checker decided that your way of spelling it was the one it didn't like.

@BlueDiver: Yes, it seems both are correct, I'm finding. Weird.
