I was up there right before you were born in 1979 with Jane Byrne as mayor.
The snow got very high and what can you say about the Lake Michigan wind once it hits the shore! The Peacoat I was issued in the Navy felt like a tissue. Be oh so careful! 😗

I few years she back, don’t remember which exactly, it was just shit. Most streets were closed off to drivers for days because of a storm. It’s settled down for the past couple of years.
