I Am a Teacher

I consider myself to be pretty go with the flow I guess, I am not really strict with anything other than late class assignments.
I have a sign above a garbage bin in the classroom that says “Late assignments go here” and then an arrow signaling down. I refuse to take any work that wasn’t turned in on time unless I have a note from a parent with a legitimate excuse on why the student couldn’t finish the assignment left for them. As well as if I get work, without a name. I won’t ask who’s it is, I don’t teach 3rd grade. I teach 7th and 8th graders by now they should know how to write their name on it. And when they don’t, that too goes in the “late work bin”
