I Love Butterflies
So, this is a picture of a beautiful monarch butterfly (my favorite kind of butterfly since I was little!) who landed on a deciduous tree. There was some milkweed plants with sweet-smelling clusters of little pink flowers a little to her left. If I remember right on that Saturday night in early July when I was still in the North Woods, she visited there, too. However, when I was singling out this princess to take her picture on one of the tree branches that was close to the lawn, she flew from branch to branch as if saying, “You can take a picture of me; just don’t get too close!” She has her reasons, I guess, and had to protect herself just as I have to in the real world we live in. I thanked her after I took the snapshot. Recently, I had a pleasant memory of one Halloween when I was little, and me and a dear person from real life dressed up as butterflies! I myself was a Monarch, and my dear person was a Fluted Swallowtail! We wore black long-sleeved shirts and pants, and my dad painted us wings made out of wood that we could operate to flap when we pulled on a decorated band that came around our backs to the front of our chests! I was so thankful that I had the opportunity to wear this marvelous costume at such a young age! ☺ Without further ado, though, here is the picture of my real-life Monarch Butterfly friend! Thank you so much for reading, everyone, and please tell me what you think! I hope that you all take care! 💖
