agreed. if I have an opinion of what a person could do I try to ask "have you tried/thought about..."

I've been asked to help at interventions. its pretty awkward.

I mean really, what makes any of us think we have anyone else's answers. Just look at our political field and even the 'preachers' and clergy. No one knows what is right or wrong for anyone. Once people start making decisions on their own how do you convince them that you know what they need. 😖

Absolutely and I've been there to help in every way I could. Still am.
I learned from a counselor once that there's a difference between helping and fixing. Talk about confusing at first but then it made sense.
