After the age of 50, which I clearly am a member of that group, people tend to have lost any delusions of the fairy tale. They understand there is work involved and reality is somewhat foreign to the fantasy. I have been married 47 years, but if something happened to that tomorrow, that is it, not happening again.

In that case I certainly hope it works out for you. My relationship can be very trying and tiring, but I can't imagine being alone.

Good luck. I hope it works out, but never say never. You don’t know what the future will bring.
I wish the best for you. Navigating a relationship is not always easy. But then you are aware of that.

I hope this one works, and I hope the good and the joy outweigh the hard work.
