I Reflect On Life

I am lost within indifference right now. The coldness and cruelty of my fellow human beings leave me to ponder alone about the meaning of life.

Just lost and content to exist in solitude right now with a reluctance to ever become close to another human being again. Sometimes the pain and other people's indifference finally stifles your willingness to give and care again. Indifference is the silent killer which I myself now embrace, It is less painful, it never leads to disappointment.

Sometimes you take a chance on a person, you help them heal but then they forget all about you and forget that you need to heal as well. I don't know what to call those actions and inactions but I come to know that it causes a pain that never seems to go away.

Funny thing is the person knows they can help you in some way by just being honest with you. But time passes by and they figure the bridge is no longer crossable, it still stands but they just will no longer even dare to look upon it. They have burned it down in their mind and that is what has become real to them. Cruel, cold and heartless, indifference is the killer of all things which are true and good. Disposable human beings become like toys to play with for some people, the way of life for many who claim to be empaths....
