I Took A Walk Down Memory Lane
It's been exactly a year since that day. All the memories of my foolishness came before my eyes. It's been a year since we came across each other on a stormy day.
On that day, I was... stunned. I haven't seen him in a long time and on that day... I never thought it would be the day I'd see him. There are so many words I wanted to say to him, but... no words came out of my mouth. All we could is acknowledge each other and carry on...
That kind of provoked me to send a letter to him on Christmas day. I hoped that he would reply, but he did not. I suppose he did not read the letter as well. When I finally came to terms with that, I felt a pang in my heart. It hurts as well. I could not even bear to make peace with myself. I couldn't live by and know that I made a foolish choice a year ago.
Now, so it goes. I'll have to forget. The memory lane will haunt me today, tomorrow, and forevermore.
