I Love My Mom, But

got a late night phone call from my mom that has made me a bit grrrrrrr... 😠 .. It's gone midnight...she rang me at 2300...to tell me her florescent tube in the kitchen had gone out... I honestly think she thinks I can just magic one out of thin air...soooo... I'll have to walk into town tomorrow (as only a limited bus service)...walk round to moms ...fit bulb...and walk home again...so much for a Sunday relaxing....
i see her every day except Sunday...she knows its my day off...oh well...such is life.....

If that was me I think I would of said .. "No worries Mum, I'll be around first thing Monday to sort it" .. No?

Id love to have done...but...as she does..she started with the teary voice...and I said ill see you early in the morn....#sigh

We could have a debate on where to lay the boundaries when the people we love overstep the line .. I know how important it is to take some time for yourself if you might be struck by the crash and burn .. still you're lucky to have your mum and she's lucky to have such a supportive son .. hopefully you will be able to get the job done early enough and not miss too much of your day of rest .. :-)
