Apart from calling us "piratas" how do Argentinians in general see the British?

In general. I know the government is quite anti-British but how about the ordinary Argentinian people?

You have the old people and the young people. The old people just hate you (my dad is part of this group) and the young people it's like we care but we dont care about the islands... We care bc since you were born, everyone teaches you to hate British people, to think that the islands are ours, to defend them and that you are the bad guys. But at the same time we dont care bc (at least for me) its not your fault, you try to defend something yours that was ours but we didnt know what we had until we lost it... and we remembered that we had the islands when we 'lost' them. We had the chance to share the islands with you but that wasnt enough for us and for that we (both of us) lost a lot of innocent lifes

Yeah, I hear the propaganda a lot. But from our point of view the Argentine invasion of the Falklands was simply an attempt by Peron to divert attention from Galtieri and his government's problems.

Peron was dead in 1982 :| but I really don't have any idea, I just don't care about it

and Galtieri wasn't a president, yes he was but no by democracy. He just 'grab' the government, he was a dictator

I meant Galtieri, sorry
