I Want To Give You Some Advice

All things go in lulls.... Everything in life is made of energy, everything in life, everything. Energy is made up of a waveform. All things have peaks and valleys so does life so do moments ever single thing social, economical, religious, mathematical even. There are three types of people in the world. The ones that ride the wave like a roller coaster and only experience the ups and downs as they come their way. Then there are the people who can displace themselves from the moment and see oh I'm on an up right now this is great I need to be in this moment and fully appreciate it or oh this is a lull a down this kind of sucks right now but a high point will come again soon. And then there is the third type of person the one we all have the ability to be who displaces themselves from the waveform recognizes the up and is in the moment and recognizes the down and changes the moment knowing a down is down and choosing, exerting their will and shifting the axis it rests upon to make the lull better and push the ups up higher. Attitude is the one thing we can control in any given situation. Viktor Frankl was a survivor of the holocaust he was a psychologist as well and upon reflecting after his surviving he deduced that mankind has the ability to find happiness in even the bleakest of situational circumstances even as dire as a concentration camp by choosing how one feels about a particular thing at a given time that is the last unshakeable human freedom that no matter what we are in we can choose how to feel about it... How powerful is that. By finding meaning in his suffering and focusing on love he found happiness in the concentration camp at times and it helped him to survive. We can will happiness into being once we know how. We need to choose to be happy not to let things get us down turn situations of suffering into meaningful acts and finding loving moments in all things. He had a patient once come into his office and the patient was depressed about the loss of his wife and Frankl said well imagine if your wife had to survive the loss of you how would she handle it? The man said oh she would be distraught and not handle it well at all I would be so sad for her... Then Frankl said see it is a good thing that you are suffering the loss of her instead of her having to suffer the loss of you without your love it is a great honor and loving thing for you to be suffering in this way sir for it is your burden to suffer your loss of your wife so good a thing it is not hers to suffer the loss of you. And the man with that perspective left much happier. Many things in life are about perspective. Your perspective is your reality and you can affect it.
