Snowflake Structure

A snowflake starts when water freezes into a crystal around a nucleation point (speck of dust).

The final shape of a snowflake is dictated by temperature, humidity and wind speed.

Nature never ceases to amaze.

A snowflake landed on my coat sleeve the other day. Tiny yet stunning in its intricacy, & delicate beauty.
A miniature crystal star, fallen intact, all that way.
