OK You have a point there. I'm not saying the MRA don't have any points in their favor it's just that they see Feminism as the enemy to be taken out and Feminism isn't. You don't have to be an antifeminist to support a man's civil rights.
I don't think it's fair, I oppose the draft, mandatory military service. etc.
I was born with boy parts so obviously I don't HATE all men or oppose Civil rights for men I just think we're the privileged class so we don't need the MRA like we're oppressed or to view feminism as the oppressor.
I am a feminist myself and I know most men think that Feminism is about women's rights and is a woman's issue but the reality is that they're fighting for us too you just don't realize it.
When Feminist critique toxic masculinity they're speaking for me. When they talk about how boys are socialized to suppress emotion and not express it and talk about how it's unhealthy to suppress your emotions they're speaking for me.
Feminist support Equal rights for BOTH sexes and are critical of our cultures image of masculinity as violent and dominant.
Women's liberation is MY liberation too. Women's rights are human rights and we're all set free by smashing the patriarchy =/
