I Love Christmas

How old were you when you quit believing in Santa Clause? 9 was my last year believing in him. A friend of mine told me he 12 years old was his last yr of believing in Santa. I was amazed! I had never heard of anyone that old still believing in him. Good for him I guess. Once the Santa magic of childhood is over its over and we never get it back.

When I was 8 I got a thing of watercolor paints that had a Kmart price tag on it, and I asked Mom how could it come from Kmart if Santa and his elves made everything. Mom said,"sometimes he gets help from stores." Mom was always real creative abt answering all our questions abt Santa Claus. I still can't believe I believed all the dressed up Santas in the stores were just giant elves. 🤔😆

So honestly someone told me when I was like in 6th grade I think, and I was all like no way he’s real! He comes to my grandma’s house every year and gives us presents! But that year when we got our gifts on Christmas morning I realized that the names were written in my mother’s very very distinct handwriting and I couldn’t believe that I had never noticed it before 🤦🏼‍♀️ @Cloud7593
