I Feel Like No One Actually Listens To Me
My mother is the worst of them all. Anytime I tell her my problems;
1. She'll cut me off and start talking about hers (keep in mind that I always listen to her and I never cut her off when she is talking).
2. If it is a problem I have with her she'll accuse me of betraying her, tell me I'll grow up to be an abusive husband (one time it was because I had asked her how Dad was on Facebook without a phone or computer since she said he was on it all the time), threaten to run away, or she will say it is because of what she is going through.
3. If I offer her a solution she does not like, such as walking away from someone who makes her mad if they will not listen to her instead of waking the whole house up at 6 AM, she will do one of the previous things.
This has been going on for years, and I do not see it getting better.
