Each person has the right to express themselves in the way they feel most comfortable with the laws of where you live. If you believe in living in modesty that's cool. You should be allowed to so that without being called prude or other names. If it's legal to go nude at certain beaches that is also you choice and should feel safe from abuse or harassment. Live and let live.

Focusing less on the body means not treating it's covering as important one way or the other. Too much or too little covering become meaningless phrases. Calling modesty a virtue and defining it as always covering every inch of a girls skin can make a girl grow to think her skin is the bad thing. that's not helpful for anyone.

I think it's time for the pendulum to swing the other way. Things would be healthier if we focused less on the body and more on relationships and spiritual things.

I agree totally, and some performers go over the top, their message to young girls is not so good I don't think.
