I Enjoy Watching Television In The Dark

Not that it adds much horror to the moment, but it's just an extra layer of comfort. It's a deeper way to escape surroundings and let the rest of the world slip away.

With that, I'm watching my new DVDs, the complete series of Tales from the Darkside, so got a bit of a nostalgia kick to go with it :)

I wanted Tales from the Crypt, but those are waaaaaaay too expensive still. This is a good substitute

Extra layer of comfort
😱😱😱

I get too spooked out. Extra layer of terror for me!

@SW-User Not with Tales from the Darkside! It's way too mild. It's story story story for 17 minutes, then WITCH and credits. Not enough time to get scared

@UpsideOutInsideDown My imagination is always worse than the actual images. 😬

@SW-User Ah I know that feeling. I watched Night of the Living Dead when I was way too young (9, maybe?) and even after the credits started rolling I just KNEW that there were zombies on the hallway. Bunch of imaginary ghoulish bastards nearly made me wet the bed

@UpsideOutInsideDown Resident Evil in VR on PS4 kept making me scream. Wasn't the actual visual but my expectation.

@SW-User I've yet to try a proper horror game in VR. Nearly did the other day, but went for Super Hot instead :D I'm sure I'll take the plunge eventually!
