I Believe That A Husband Should Be The Head Of The Home

Yes but not in a domineering way but in a way that seeks the best for his family. I am thankful that my husband is very hard working and makes sure we all have more than enough. In return I give him my respect (well mostly!) and accept his headship and his authority to run the home. I also accept his right to put his foot down with a firm hand if I or the girls step outa line.

This used to be the status quo. Couples and families lived together much more harmoniously before the progression toward a more equal partnership in marriage. Equality sounds great on paper, but it can breed conflict if there is no mutually agreed hierarchy of authority and no way to peacefully break tie votes.
