Anyone uses google assistant here to switch on smart devices ?

@DianaGyana To disable it? You go in the Settings > App, search literally "Google" (the icon is round and white, with a multicolored G in the middle), tap on it, and hit "Disable".

@DianaGyana If you have Google Assistant and a smart thermostat(for example) you say "hey Google, set my thermostat to 72 degrees." and it is done.
