I Love Technology

So I finally took a leap and decided I'm going to get this nice Directv and phone bundle since my phone needed fixing anyways...

Damn.

I never was much of a tv watcher but all these channels! Since it's winter and I'm going to go outside as little as possible I figured why not. The amazingly cute installation guy spent almost four hours installing everything and having to call people on my paperwork ( since it's campus housing I had to get it OKd by like three different people to get the dish put up), but it worked out well in the end....

I found food network and cooking channel right next to Olympic channel. So....goodbye everyone. Nice knowing you.

Hopefully your directv experience is better than mine.

@AcidBurn Well, knowing me I'll get addicted for a couple weeks and bingewatch some seasons of whatever. Then I'll wonder why I'm paying for something I don't use.
@PennyHenny Or wondering why you're paying for something that doesn't work when the weather sucks and you're stuck inside.

@AcidBurn I was worried about that with a dish setup. Back home we didn't have that issue with ours but the weather there is far more predictable than here it seems.
@PennyHenny Our service is horrible. The only thing worse is our lack of alternatives.

@AcidBurn So far the streaming app is...decent enough so there's that.
@PennyHenny I'm stuck with their dsl service that's also horrible. My streaming and on-demand options rarely function. So I end up here. It's at&t's fault I'm here so much! lol

@AcidBurn Yeah, I got mine through an ATT bundle deal.
