How can you impeach a president who is doing a terrific job?

I have one question regarding all these jobs that Trumpy claims to have created.

How many of the tens of millions of jobs are providing a living wage? No need to be exact. Give or take a few million jobs.

On a side note: You know that person who cleans Trump’s toilet and washes his underwear? How much does he or she get paid?

@Reverend Should corporations delay automation as long as possible?
Reverend · M
@SimplyTracie Im not sure. One thing is a fact, whatever they choose to do will be beneficial to them.

@Reverend And beneficial for their stockholders.
Hey, the stock market has been breaking all kinds of records I hear. Thank you Mr. President.

Surely you can impeach a president you consider to have committed impeachable offences.

A guy doesn't get away with fraud just because he also makes a lot of sales. He remains a fraudster!

If Trump has committed an impeachable offence, it's enough to impeach him. End of story really.

@Lhayezee I note that all the other first tier comments are being debated but this one isn't...which probably says something about how everyone feels about Trump but is too tribal to admit...

And to answer your question he did create alot of jobs unemployment is down to its record lows since 1986 i beliveso
since trump has been president he has opened a lot of doors and do people deserve 15 dollars a hour to flip a burger it's NO it should go by the job and the skills the person has in that area not just because you think your intitled to it more then a person that has 5 years at a business
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Mrwolf79 You seem very knowledgeable about Trump and how jobs are created.
May I ask you a few questions?

Who decides how much a burger flipper should be paid? You say no to a burger flipper making $15/hr. How much do you think is a fair wage?
Should wages be based on your skill level or IQ or how hard a person works?

I have a question. Do you remember just prior to the 2018 midterms how many governors across the country were taking credit for creating jobs in their state?
So hilarious. Like governors have the ability or the inclination to create jobs. What a sham!

Because he is not a follower he is a leader and they wanted a puppet they can control and it hasn't work that's why they went to impeach him
@Mrwolf79 Is it possible the Democrats know they can't defeat him in an election, so impeachment is the only way to prevent another 4 years. Isn't impeachment an admission by the Democrats that all their presidential candidates are unelectable? Just wondering.
Theoretically, impeachment is related to specific offenses. Not a referendum on a POTUS.

It’s sort of like I can be a brilliant surgeon or biomedical researcher saving a bunch of lives... but if I’m still buying kids and tucking them I have to go despite any good I do,

As for whether the POTUS is impeachable, we know he’ll never be convicted. So it’s moot, and being impeached is no political liability for his supporters,
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@CopperCicada Some people here are saying that Trump wants to be impeached so he can have his day in court (Senate) but I doubt that very much.
He being impeached puts an asterisk on his presidency no matter if he gets acquitted or not.

I like how Trump very rightly criticized the headline "job numbers" as utterly unreflective of real prosperity when he was running his campaign, then quietly went over to relying on them when he decided he wasn't going to do anything all that differently from his predecessors after all.
Lhayezee · 26-30, F
@Keraunos I think it's what every candidate vs every president (or prime minister, etc) does
Keraunos · 36-40, M
@Lhayezee That seems to be the case. Unfortunately, we've got leeway for maybe one or two more presidents to keep doing that before the entire country collapses at this point, and things will get noticeably worse under their watches in the meantime.
