I Like to Be Helpful

I am always told, "Why are you helping me, when you don't even know me?" It's not like I am good person, I help people because that is where I am most "relaxed". When helping someone it helps for me to tune out my issues and problems but to listen to someone else's issues instead. It allow me to stop all my racing thoughts that take me over, to a single thought that says. "How can I help?" So sometimes I don't help people because I am nice, kind, friendly or whatever. I help people so I can clear my head. ^_^
