well there is Job Corps which is a program kids go to where they can learn a skill and earn their GED at the same time. I only know of this program because 90% of my in-laws went to Job Corps

@BlackAphrodite: well it depends on who you go through, but majority of them are tough to get into and it takes awhile to get a job through most places.
