I Saw Someone Get Shot

No One Should See Anyone Shot But A Child............... I was young.............. I heard the yelling. I looked to see what was going on.

It was about this time that a man pulls out a gun and shoots the man. The other man collapses as in slow motion. He falls on his knees, reaches for his chest, his face is one of shock. Then he looks up at the other man with the gun. I know there is yelling, screaming.............. but my eyes are just on the man that was shot. Then he falls back.............. his hand on his chest.

Yes I did......... The ambulance came, cops came and I was rushed into the house. No one would tell me what happened to the man that was shot. I actually was just told a few years ago.

That must have been pretty traumatic for you. In hindsight do you think it would have been better to have been told at the time what had gone on ? At a young age like that all sorts of things go through your head don't they ? Did he survive ?

I think it was handled in a way to protect us, the children and I was told a few years ago that he died. But I honestly don't know.
