I Feel Sad When Someone I Know Has Hurt Feellings
Dear you,
I walked past you when shopping yesterday. You were sat there sitting in your coat with a small money pouch bag filled with a few coins by your side. I was struck by the utter sadness in your eyes. So much so that I have thought of nothing else since.
I wanted to do something for you, buy you food, a hot drink or some money. Yet when I walked back an hour or so later, you had gone.
I want you to know I noticed you. I noticed your pain and I cared. It may not feel
to you like nobody else does but I do. I have no idea what happened to you, how you ended up living rough on the streets but I hope, sincerely, that one day, there won't be pain in your eyes but hope.
