I Loss Of A Family Member

Mostly came here in hopes of finding people to talk to in similar situations.
Recently a bunch of my family and I watched my grandma pass away together.
Maybe to some that doesn't sound like much. It's really hard to watch someone you love die. Especially someone who's watched you grow up. You expect them to just be there. You feel insanely lost when they are not.... anyway that's all I have to say about that.

My condolences, I can relate to this experience. In November 2015 my mother in law died. My wife 2 sons & I were with her. It was obvious her time had come It was a hard Xmas for all of us but especially my wife. Then in July 2016 my wife passed away, suddenly & unexpectedly. We found her dead in bed. So again it was a hard Xmas. 7 months on it's still tough. As you say, you expect them to be there. It just shows you never know what's around the corner & that we always need to be prepared for the unexpected.

I hope you are gradually getting over the loss & looking forward to happier things in life. Best wishes. ☺
