I Want to Hear Your Coming Out Story

I came out to my dad about a month ago because he was coming to stay with me when my husband was away. He was going to find out anyways because my gf would be staying with me a few nights, too, and she would be sleeping with me. My mom was bi so I knew my dad would be OK with it but it was still embarrassing to tell him, and we have had a pretty open relationship about most things. When I told him, he was actually happy for me. 😍

At least you pretty much could assume he'd be ok with it. It would be a lot worse if he was uber-conservative! But it must be a huge relief to have the secret out.
