I Eat Low-carb

So trying to find anything good at walmart and stay under 50 carbs a day is like trying to reach a glass of water 10 feet in the air while thirsty. This sux lol! Mother told me about halo top ice cream and that how I could get away with it, but no! I actually went and looked lol and it has 6grams sugar a serving and plenty of carbs too. The diet cookies and candies that have no sugar are LOADED with carbs. So I guess I'm just spoiled from the poison and need to learn to love meat and veggies and stuff like that? And it's good but even the best tasting fruit to me (bananas) is too much sugar for me sheesh. Torture.

Lol I'm low carb by choice but I feel you on that one. Sugar is addicting and aside from carbs it's SO bad for you. High amounts of sugar can cause neurological problems. I just started my low carb journey about a month ago and I eat meat, veggies, some fruit but not a lot, some animal based/plant based fats. I'm not a doctor so I don't know if I'm doing it right but feel better as a result.

Though it is frustrating so I get it.. 1 cup of blueberries has 21 grams. I still have it anyways thawed from frozen lol. I think that's the only sugar in my diet.

@SatanBurger I don't usually go into Starbuck's but time was pressing and I needed a wi-fi connection, so I looked for the cheapest thing to buy... I picked up a carton of their milk, and noticed added sugar near the top of the list of ingredients. Disgusting... Parents probably buy it for their children if they have to take them there...

@MissPriscillaPrim Fun but kind of scary fact, junk food and pop companies actually sponsor nutrition conferences. They influence the outcomes of some studies however they please. They also put billions of dollars in schools and then in exchange the teachers are required to sell a certain amount of pop over other alternatives. It is disgusting.
