I Hate My Body

It's too skinny and puny. and always broken. my skin flares at yet another random thing I can't quite work out. Or my guts. or my bike throws me off again so I need time to repair.

I just want to train. bodyweight exercises. is it really so much to ask? muscles. To carry a lady on wedding day. And to ride harder. To climb harder. To run faster and farther.

I often think the same thing. I need to workout more, be stronger, healthier, faster, energetic. It's natural to want that, but I think you also have to take the time to remind yourself of all the good things your body has. You can walk and talk and have the ability to work harder and get stronger. As long as your determination is strong so will you be eventually! All the cuts and scrapes and broken bones are just the hills you must endure on your path to greatness. Take them seriously and overcome them with that same determination and resilience that you've already shown in just starting your journey and nothing can stop you! You are already strong!!
