I Wonder Where Socks Go

Not too much of a mystery in my house as we have a sock basket by the door. Shoes and socks come off in the porch and put in their place. If socks ain’t in the basket they don’t get washed! Simple, my daughter did find herself without a pair of clean socks this morning though so it was off to school without.

@SandraB Well I hope it warms up for her soon and she can go without socks whenever she likes 🙂 I always seem to get wet feet in this weather, so my socks are often drying on the radiator 😒

@QuietSophie We have a sock basket and it’s always got damp socks in it on days like today. It’s always empty in the summer 😍

So true. Socks have their own feet and walk off whenever they want. But in the case of my daughter, she just likes to take them off wherever she is and most times hides them. Can't tell you how many times I move the chair and find a pile full of her socks

@BearDownChicago Sounds like you need a sock basket too! Tell your daughter if they don’t go in the basket they won’t get washed. I’m sure she’ll learn even if it’s the hard way like my dd

Ren and Stimpy already covered where they go. They get sucked into a black hole and go to the planet of lost socks. It is quite a stench. AND--they are only lost LEFT socks-the right sock never gets lost!
