I Have Lost a Friend

I didn't think about him at all. That was until Facebook gave me a notification it was his birthday. It's been months since we talked. I'd forgotten about him. I don't remember what we fought about. I think it was a misunderstanding. Honestly, I thought it was pretty shallow but it tore us apart. I remember telling him maybe two weeks before that fallout that we'd be able to stick together through anything. Boy, did I eat what I said lol !

So I didn't wish him a happy birthday on his birthday. I did like a day after. I don't know why. He totally ignored it. I'm not so hurt, at all, but I feel pathetic like why did I even try at all
