I Love Tom Robbins
I'm on several groups that discuss writers that I adore and worship - Kurt Vonnegut, David Sedaris, Jack Kerouac among others.
One or more of these writers, I can identify the time and place where we first became acquainted - what our early days and nights together were like!
But with Tom Robbins, I have no idea. I didn't know when or where the relationship had begun. I just knew that I had read and enjoyed "Another Roadside Attraction", "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues", "Still Life in Woodpecker", "Jitterbug Perfume", "Skinny Legs and All", "Half Aslerp in Frog Pajamas" ...
I just knew that I loved his writing, I just didn't know from when or where. But why worry about where the love for the writing came from; it just takes time away from the reading.
